Electro-Etch
Electronic transfer onto a metal surface. This is a surface imprint on blades or metal handles. The Electro-etch is semi-permanent.
Tech Print
Photo emulsion of paint onto blades and metal handles. Up to two (2) colors per surface. The Tech Print is semi-permanent.
Laser Engraving / Surface Marking
process removes the black hard coat allowing the underlying metal to shine through.
Tec X Limited Lifetime Warranty
We warrant each and every Tec X knife to be free of defects in material and workmanship for the life of the owner, and we will repair or replace with a new Tec X knife, at our option, any Tec X knife that is defective. That's how strongly we feel about the quality of our cutlery. If you believe your Tec X knife has a manufacturing defect, mail your knife along with a written explanation of the problem to:

Tec X does not warrant its products against normal wear or misuse. Tec X knives are not intended to be used as hammers, chisels, pry bars, or screw drivers. If your knife was damaged due to misuse, our repair department can analyze the damage and repair it for a reasonable fee. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights which vary by area.
Repair Statement
As stated in our warranty, Tec X will attempt to repair any knife that may have a defect in material or workmanship. If repairs cannot be made, we will offer you a new knife. However, if the knife holds sentimental value or is a collector's item and cannot be repaired, Tec X is not responsible for offering a replacement or repayment that is equal in value. Tec X will furnish a currently manufactured item that most closely matches the item sent for repair.
